Who we are
We are a fabric covered wall specialist company with over 30 years experience in stretching fabric on walls and ceilings in both traditional and clean edge finishes.
We work closely with leading interior designers installing fabric walling to hotels, offices, art galleries, home cinemas, private residences, stately homes and palaces as part of their team.
We are based in Bedfordshire, but travel to many countries for our work.
Harriet has joined us with her many years of experience as an interior designer, she has access to a team of builders, decorators, curtain makers, carpet fitters, furniture upholsterers etc.
What we do
We Install client supplied fabrics to walls and ceilings. We have also applied fabric to doors, architraves, picture rails, cornices, beds and furniture. We will install any size contract from a single feature wall upwards.
We normally supply and fix 6mm ply battens using a compressor and various staple guns, to the perimeter of each wall elevation. This includes round light switches and sockets. A fire retardant modacrylic polyester fibre (ToBS.5852:Part 2:1982) is used as an infill. A class "1" or class "0" infills are available at an extra cost. Thinner or thicker battens and infills can be supplied.
Fabric is always seamed on site and installed by stretching taut and stapling. Staples are then covered with a braid, but not in corners, which are back tacked. It is important to match sewn seams and backstapled comers perfectly. See illustrations.
There is no fixed price structure in place as each room is different, each fabric is different, therefore the installation is bespoke.
If a clean edge finish is required, i.e. no staples or braid showing, this is achieved by using a plastic track system, again at an extra cost.

For recording studios, TV and Radio studios, Edit and Dubbing suites we are the only approved installer of The Cork Insulation (72) Company Ltd. "Sound Track" fabric system. Cork also manufacture and supply accoustic doors, windows and other products.
